Insurance and Key Management

All employees are covered by the Insurances. To prevent loss, we attach an air tag to each key upon receipt and transport it in a secure zippered pouch.

Comprehensive Staff Training

We employ sitters who are certified professionals with experience in pet-related work or personal pet care. Each sitter signs a confidentiality agreement and only those who pass rigorous training are permitted to visit our customers’ houses.

Continuous Sittings

If a different sitter is caring for your pet, the prior sitter will provide a detailed handover. If you would like, we can arrange an introduction in person (for a fee) or via Zoom (free of charge).

How to Use

STEP 01

Inquiries and Reservations Please use the contact form or add us as a friend on LINE. Let us know your preferred counseling or sitting dates, along with details about the family members we will be assisting.

STEP 02

Counseling A sitter who best matches your needs will visit your home to discuss specific care requirements.
(If you would like to try a trial sitting, we will provide care immediately after the counseling session while you observe.)
Note: We will take detailed notes in a client file, which includes taking photos of your home for reference. All staff members have signed confidentiality agreements, so please rest assured that your privacy is protected.

STEP 03

Contract and Key Handling After reviewing the terms of service and signing the contract, we will collect your keys using the method you prefer.

STEP 04

On the Day of Sitting We will visit at your reserved time and provide detailed care according to your requests. To ensure peace of mind, we will keep you updated frequently with photos.
(If you prefer not to receive updates, please let us know.)

STEP 05

Key Return and Report After the sitting is completed, we will return your keys as per the method discussed during counseling. Within a few hours, we will send you a report along with lovely photos and videos of your family taken during the sitting.

Pet Partner Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "our company") establishes the following Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this policy") regarding the handling of user information, including personal information, in the services we provide (hereinafter referred to as "the service").

- Information about pets, including name and date of birth

(2) Information Provided by Other Services with User Permission

5-2 A fee of 1,000 yen (excluding tax) will be charged for each request for notification of purpose of use, disclosure of retained personal data, or records of third-party provision.

7. Procedure for Changes to the Privacy Policy

Our company may change this policy as necessary. However, if changes require user consent by law, the modified policy will only apply to users who have consented to the changes in the manner specified by our company. When changing this policy, our company will notify users by displaying the effective date and content of the updated policy on our website or by other appropriate means.

Article 1 (General Provisions)

1. These Terms of Service outline the terms and conditions for the pet services (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") provided by Pet Partner Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") and the rights and obligations between the Company and users (hereinafter referred to as "the Customer").
2. By using the Service, the Customer is deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 2 (Service Content)

1. The Service refers to the care and supervision of pets at a location designated by the Customer.
2. Specific services, such as pet walking, feeding, cleaning litter boxes, and refreshing water, are based on prior agreements with the Customer.

3. If special care is needed, additional fees may be charged after consultation with the Customer.

Article 3 (Fees and Payment)

1. Service fees are based on the price list set separately by the Company.

2. Payment shall be made before the service via credit card, bank transfer, or PayPay.

3. The cancellation fees are as follows:

– Cancellation up to 7:00 pm three days before service: Free
– Cancellation after 6:00 pm three days before service: 30% of the fee
– Cancellation after 6:00 pm two days before service: 50% of the fee
– Cancellation after 6:00 pm the day before service: 100% of the fee

Article 4 (Customer Responsibilities)

1. The Customer must provide accurate information regarding the pet's health, allergies, temperament, and any special care requirements.
2. The Company assumes no responsibility for inadequate or incorrect information provided by the Customer.

Article 5 (Company Responsibilities)

1. While the Company shall care for pets with due diligence, the Company shall not be liable in the following cases:
– Damage due to pets' pre-existing conditions or unforeseen accidents
– Damage due to force majeure such as natural disasters
2. 2. If emergency medical treatment is required for a pet during the Service, the Company will promptly contact the Customer for instructions. If the Company is unable to reach the Customer, it may take necessary actions at its discretion, and any resulting medical expenses will be charged to the Customer.

3. The Company's liability for damages related to the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by the Customer for that Service, except in cases of intent or gross negligence by the Company.

Article 6 (Confidentiality)

The Company will not disclose the Customer’s personal information or pet-related information to third parties, except as provided in the Company’s Privacy Policy.

Article 7 (Prohibited Acts)

When using the Service, the Customer must not engage in any of the following acts or acts deemed by the Company to be reasonably similar:
1. Acts that violate laws and regulations
2. Fraud or threats toward the Company
3. Acts that violate public order and morals
4. Acts that infringe on the intellectual property rights, portrait rights, privacy rights, reputation, or other rights or interests of the Company or others
5. Acts that place an excessive load on the Service’s network or system
6. Reverse engineering or analysis of the Company’s system
7. Acts that may disrupt the operation of the Service
8. Collecting information about other customers of the Service
9. Acts that cause harm or disadvantage to the Company
10. Providing false information when registering for the Service
11. Directly or indirectly inducing or facilitating the aforementioned acts
12. Attempting any of the above acts

Article 8 (Suspension of Service, Modification of Contract, Termination)

1. The Customer or the Company may change the content of the Service upon prior notice.
2. The Company may suspend the Service or terminate the contract in whole or in part in cases including but not limited to:
1. Violation of any provision of these Terms
2. Unclean or improper environment for pet care, such as clutter or foul odors
3. No response from the Customer for 30 days or more to Company inquiries
4. Insolvency, bankruptcy, civil rehabilitation, corporate reorganization, or similar legal proceedings initiated
5. Any other cases where the Company deems Service use inappropriate for the Customer
3. In any of the cases listed above, the Customer shall lose the benefit of the term for all obligations to the Company and must immediately pay all outstanding amounts.

Article 9 (Disclaimer of Warranties)

The Company does not guarantee that the Service will meet the specific purposes or expectations of functionality, value, accuracy, or usefulness desired by the Customer.

Article 10 (Handling of User Information)

1. Handling of Customer information by the Company is governed by the Privacy Policy, which the Customer agrees to in advance.
2. The Company may use and disclose, at its discretion, statistical information that does not identify individuals based on data provided by the Customer, who consents to this.

Article 11 (Changes to Terms of Service)

1. The Company may change these Terms if deemed necessary.
2. Changes to the Terms will be announced on the Company’s website or by other appropriate means, notifying the effective date and content.
3. For changes requiring Customer consent under the law, the Company shall obtain such consent by its prescribed methods.
4. The Customer is deemed to have consented to the revised Terms by continuing to use the Service after such changes.

Article 12 (Assignment of Service Contract Position, etc.)

1. The Customer may not transfer, assign, or dispose of the position or rights and obligations of the Service contract to any third party without prior written consent from the Company.

2. In the event of business transfer, the Company may transfer its position, rights, obligations, and Customer information related to the Service contract to the transferee. The Customer agrees in advance to such transfer in this clause, including all cases where business is transferred through corporate separation or other means.

Article 13 (Severability)

Even if any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable by law, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.

Article 14 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be governed by Japanese law, and any disputes related to these Terms shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.
